Professional Experience

  • I currently work as a senior associate in the Budapest office of an international law firm, where I advise on competition law, merger control, foreign direct investment (FDI) filings, regulatory matters, consumer protection, commercial law, as well as environmental and waste management law. My work includes the full coordination of administrative proceedings and providing strategic support to clients operating in complex, regulated environments.

  • Prior to this, I worked in the Brussels office of a U.S. law firm, focusing on EU and multi-jurisdictional merger control cases, FDI filings, and complex regulatory matters. My work also covered sanctions-related legal issues. During this period, I further strengthened my international experience and practical knowledge of EU law.

  • Earlier in my career, I worked as an associate lawyer and trainee lawyer in the Budapest offices of several international law firms, advising on competition law, consumer protection, and commercial law matters. I conducted legal analyses in state aid cases, including matters related to concessions. In addition, I participated in several internal investigations and cartel cases, including assisting clients acting as leniency applicants.

  • At an earlier stage of my international career, I worked as a trainee and external consultant in the Brussels and Paris offices of international law firms, specialising in competition law.

  • In addition to private practice, I also have experience in public authorities. I worked as a case handler at the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) in the Cartel Office and as a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) in Brussels.
